Capgemini, a $13.5-billion French IT major, has expanded its business process outsourcing centre network in India. It has commissioned a new 300-seat centre in the tier 2 city of Tiruchi, Tamil Nadu.
After Salem, Tiruchi is the second such small city in which the company has started its BPO operations in India. This is the company's seventh BPO centre in India.
Over 200 employees have already been recruited, most of them are fresh graduates, Hubert Giraud, Head, Cagemini Strategic Business Unit, told newspersons here.
