Capgemini — a provider of consulting, technology and outsourcing services — opened its new business process outsourcing (BPO) centre in Gurgaon on Tuesday. This is Capgemini's first BPO centre in the northern region and sixth in India.
The new facility is spread over 35,000 sq.ft, and will increase the company's total BPO capacity in India to over 4,500 seats. The existing BPO staff in Gurgaon will deliver global order management services to Nokia Siemens Networks, to support the company's global supply chain management.
The services delivered cover quote-to-cash processes, including all aspects of order management, spanning preparation for delivery, customer order management, distribution, and customer invoicing, a company statement said.
In India, Capgemini's BPO unit has close to 5,000 employees.
