Bengaluru-based online modular furnishing solutions provider CapriCoast.com has raised $1.25 million in a seed round led by Accel Partners India. The company, according to Jawad Ayaz, Founder and Chief Executive of CapriCoast, would use the seed fund to expand to all the six metros by the end of the current calendar year. The company’s online model would ensure cost efficiency by eliminating middlemen, offer 1,000s of deliverable designs and free design consultations, thus, making it possible to design a modular kitchen at a price range which is at least 20-25 per cent lower than any other comparable offerings in the market, claims Ayaz.
