Cerebra Integrated Technologies has signed an MoU with E-Waste Systems Inc (EWSI), a UK-headquartered public company, to set up E-Waste facility.
Cerebra is in the process of setting up the recycling facility in Narsapura near Bangalore, for which it has acquired 12 acres.
Martin Nielson, founder and CEO of EWSI, said: “Through this strategic alliance, we will get an entry into Indian E-waste industry. EWSI is actively negotiating strategic investments in companies that offer market penetration and facilitate our aggressive plan for expansion.”
“EWSI is expected to bring in its proprietary engineering and technologies that can extract maximum value from end-of-life assets. This tie-up will be exclusive for India and also for other geographies as mutually agreed upon,” V. Ranganathan, Managing Director, Cerebra Integrated Technologies, said.
