Nasdaq listed Compuware Corporation has partnered with Wipro Technologies to be the preferred solution provider of application performance management (APM) for Wipro’s software performance testing practice.

Performance testing in software engineering forms a key part of the software development lifecycle and is used to describe the processes, people and technologies required to effectively test non-functional requirements and ensure to service compliance before software deployment.

Wipro customers will be using Compuware solutions for application performance in combination with performance testing across their pre- and post-production environments, a statement from Wipro said.

This, according to industry watchers will enable Wipro to deliver projects faster and more reliably to meet customers’ time-to-market and quality demands. Wipro’s performance engineering practice serves many Fortune 500 companies in the US, Europe and Asia Pacific regions.
