Software company CSS Corp has roped in three senior officials from Infosys BPO, and some from Wipro and Satyam Computer to strengthen its top management team.
The US-based company, with a large presence in India, roped in Suranjan Pramanik to be the Chief Sales Officer (Americas), Raj Reddy as Chief HR officer and Purnima Menon as Chief Marketing Officer. All the three are from Infosys BPO.
It also roped in Harbir Singh from Wipro to head the company’s Europe and Asia markets, and Srinivas Anappindi from Satyam to be the Chief Information Officer.
Two years ago T.G. Ramesh, who co-founded Quintant Services, was brought in as CEO by the previous investors that included SAIF Ventures, Goldman Sachs and Sierra Venture.
All the three investors exited the company by selling their shares to Partners Group of Switzerland. The global private markets investment manager acquired a majority stake in CSS Corp on behalf of its clients in a $270 million transaction.
All the six directors, including Phaneesh Murthy (former CEO of iGate), have quit the company after this transaction. Six new directors have come on board, Ramesh told newspersons.
Post the transaction, which was announced in Switzerland on Tuesday by the investment firm, Partners Group will become the majority shareholder with a 79 per cent stake in CSS. The rest of the stake will be with the management and individuals, including former employees of CSS Corp, said Ramesh.
“The entire top management team is new. Our target is to be a $1 billion company in the next five to six years,” he said.
