Cyberoam, a division of Elitecore Technologies, has launched a Wi-Fi router – NetGenie- aimed at home and small office users. The appliance allows users to control Internet access. It also allows schedule-based Internet access over various Web site categories and applications for different users.
NetGenie's security features such as firewall, Intrusion Prevention System and in-built Anti-Virus offer strong Internet security the moment the appliance is turned on. The router along with the Internet solution is priced between Rs 7,999 and Rs 10,999.
The company plans to invest about Rs 122 crore in India by 2012 to build up capacity and marketing initiatives.
