Bangalore-based Dearborn Electronics India, a group company of Global Edge Software, has launched a product for reading engine and vehicle defects and reprogramme it according to safety norms.
In a statement, the company said that the software called Garuda can communicate with a PC through USB and would be useful for vehicle makers. However, very soon, this software will be able to communicate through Wi-Fi and the company will be launching the Wi-Fi version in the US.
Dearborn Electronics caters to large OEMs and tier I suppliers providing embedded software solutions and services focusing on diagnostics, ECU software systems and control systems for the automotive and industrial automation segments.
