A high-level delegation from Kingdom of Bahrain visited Technopark here to explore possible ways of engagement.
Shaikh Mohammed Bin Essa Khalif, adviser to crown prince Shaikh Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, led the delegation.
Sanjaya Baru, Director for Geoeconomics and Strategy, International Institute for Strategic Studies, accompanied it.
P. H. Kurian, Principal Secretary, IT; Gigo Joseph, Chief Executive Officer, Infopark-Kochi; and M. Vasudevan, Senior Business Development Manager, Technopark, received the delegation.
A presentation on the IT parks in the State and investment opportunities was made for the benefit of the delegation.

Members were later taken for a campus tour of Technopark.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Essa Khalif expressed his appreciation of infrastructure facilities available in Technopark.
The delegation also met with Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and K.M. Chandrasekhar, Vice-Chairman, State Planning Board.
