Integrated IT major Dell's new facility in Coimbatore has been awarded LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification by the India Green Building Council.
The Coimbatore facility is the first Dell-owned building to be LEED certified.
It supports Dell's services business and is home to more than 2,200 team members.
The company recently opened a large leased office building in Noida to meet the LEED Gold standard for commercial interiors.
A new office tower being constructed in Dell's campus at Bengaluru has been designed to meet LEED Platinum standards, the company said in a release
