Dell EMC, an IT storage solutions company, has signed a deal with Pi Datacenters of Andhra Pradesh. Under this MOU, the two companies will work together to deliver software defined storage (SDS) to customers in the Indian market. Pi Datacenters, which set up a greenfield data centre near Vijayawada, would use Dell EMC’s SDS to enhance Pi’s strengths, Kalyan Muppaneni, founder and Chief Executive Officer, of Pi Datacenters, said here in a statement on Tuesday.
With disruption and flexibility being the driving forces for both the organizations, the partnership is envisioned to be a WIN–WIN proposition to deliver high quality innovative solutions with significantly lower total cost of ownership to the customers.
Rajesh Janey, President and Managing Director (India Enterprise) Dell EMC, said that would help offer the solutions at lower costs. “Software Defined Data Centre allows customers to automate the configuration and deployment of IT services,” he said.
