Leading e-commerce technology firm Infibeam on Tuesday introduced a program for merchants and sellers that grants them access to the e-tailer's customers and leverage its expertise in digital marketing needs.
The program Ignite offers merchants a combo of marketing and distribution to drive higher traffic to their own branded store and grow sales, the company said in a statement here.
One of the program’s key features is the “Buy” button link-off on Infibeam.com product detail page, which redirects the customer to the product on the merchant’s own online store for closing the transaction or selling other products.
The customer identity of Infibeam can be used on the merchant store to complete a purchase.
The program also allows sellers to make their products available on other marketplaces.
All these services come bundled as a package and merchants or sellers can either upgrade from the existing Infibeam / BuildaBazaar plan or opt directly for this program to get the benefits, Prakash Gupta, Head, BuildaBazaar, Domestic Operations, said.
The offering will be limited to select merchants in the first phase.
