eClerx Services Ltd, which is into data analytics and process outsourcing services, has reported on a standalone basis a sharp rise in net income and net profit in the second quarter of the current fiscal compared to the corresponding quarter last year.
The company's net income went up to Rs 183.47 crore in Q 2 of current fiscal from Rs 138.99 crore in the same quarter last year.
The net profit jumped more than 150 per cent to Rs 64 crore in Q2 of 2013-14 from Rs 24.67 crore in the second quarter of last year. The EPS zoomed to Rs 21.34 (Rs 8.44).
The shares of eClerx Services were trading at Rs 919.95, a gain of Rs 10.45, on the NSE. The stock had touched a high of Rs 955 but pared some of the gains to trade lower around 2.40 p.m.
