EdServ Ltd has tied up with Amazon.com for providing educational content on Tablet personal computers. Its ‘2tionPlus' applications will now be available at Amazon's App Stores.

Through the tie-up, the world's largest online retailer will allow EdServ's ‘2tionPlus' to be accessed by billions of users globally, the Chennai-based education support services company said.

EdServ's 2tionPlus is a social networking collaborative learning application through which students will be able to avail the support of over 30,000 tutors. The application will be available on Android Tablet PCs.

It can be downloaded to any Android Tab by visiting

www.2tionplus.com or directly from the Amazon Apps store. While the download and installation of 2tionPlus is free, the users will have to pay a fee for the premium content available on EdServ's
Lampsglow.com , says a press release issued by EdServ.

EdServ is targeting 2.5 lakh users for the application download over the next one year. Each of these users could use any of EdServ's wide range of education content. There are no specifics on the revenue from this tie up at this point in time, said Mr S. Giridharan, Chairman and CEO, EdServ.

The tie up with Amazon.com follows EdServ's tie up last year with global mobile brands such as Blackberry, Nokia and Samsung to make its wide range of educational content available on smart phones. Just as an indication of the potential, in the last 9 months, over 3 lakh users have downloaded EdServ's application, he said.
