Education software provider Ellucian has opened a new facility in Bangalore. This new centre will provide engineering, marketing, sales and support services to its global and India operations. The facility will have 250 employees, according to Ellucian officials. The company offers technology solutions to colleges globally and is now having plans to grow in the India market, which it reckons is the second largest higher education market in the world after the US. Milind Kamat, Vice-President and Country Head - India, Ellucian, said: “As the Indian higher education sector continues to grow and transform, Ellucian will provide solutions to help students and institutions engage more deeply with their ecosystem involving students, alumni, and donors.”
