EMC Corporation has launched professional training and certification courses in cloud computing and big data analytics in India.
In addition, the NYSE-listed company aims to train over 30,000 engineering students in the first year as part of its EMC Academic Alliance (EAA) programme.
The new data science and big data analytics training and certification would help build a foundation for data analytics with a focus on the opportunities and challenges presented by big data, the company said in a statement.
“While India has the necessary technical manpower, it is important to skill them in these new areas in order to leverage the power of analytics. Our new courses will address that gap and provide industry certification and skills development in cloud computing and Big Data analytics,” said EMC India & SAARC President Rajesh Janey.
EMC will offer these courses through university partners.
