Marketing company Epsilon plans to hire 1000 engineers over the next three years.
Talking to BusinessLine , Neil Walsh, Senior VP, Shared Services, Epsilon, said: “We are looking to hire programmers in technologies like .NET, Hadoop, Oracle and Adobe as we see an increasing intersection of technology and conventional marketing.” Currently, the company has 100 employees in India and 7,000 globally.
The company has also appointed Ashish Sinha as the country head who will spearhead shared services centre in Bengaluru. The Bengaluru centre will provide insight and strategy support for Epsilon’s global clients such as Citi and Dell, focusing on combining data, analytics, creativity and technology, to create marketing campaigns.
“Marketers are using data to offer relevant products, and also to segment and target their audiences,” added Walsh. The company is looking at 85 per cent lateral hires and the remaining will be freshers.
