Digital imaging company Epson has launched the world’s first integrated ink tank system printers in India.
“In view of high performance printing solutions to help our customers lower their cost of printing, we are launching two new models L100 and L200 in India,” Epson India Pvt Ltd Deputy General Manger, Mr S.M. Ramprasad, told reporters here today.
The new integrated ink tank system technology will help in bringing down the printing cost to as low as 0.10 paise for black page and 0.20 paise per colour page, Mr Ramprasad said.
The new printers feature Epson Original Ink Tanks that will help users increase productivity and save on printing costs. The L100 model will be available for Rs 8,999 and L200 model will be available for Rs 10,999.
India’s printer market is estimated at Rs 2,000 crore and it is growing at 12-15 per cent per annum. Whereas, the printing ink market is estimated at Rs 3,000 crore, of which Rs 2,500 crore is organised and Rs 500 crore is from unorganised sector, he said.
