Etech Global Services, a leading business process outsourcer (BPO), on Wednesday said it will be adding 500 seats over the next six months to its India contact centres at Gandhinagar and Vadodara, both in Gujarat.

The Gandhinagar and Vadodara centres currently have 750 and 250 seats, respectively, Mr Jim Iyoob, Senior Vice-President, Business Development, told reporters here.

The Texas-based US company, serving Fortune 50 companies, at present has a 2,400-strong workforce at its six centres in the US, India and Jamaica, he said.

Etech Global, started in 1997, focuses on sectors like telecommunication, education, retail, travel, cable and banking and finance. The company came to India in 2003.
