Facebook has decided to make the ads look slimmer.
The social networking firm has asked the advertisers to limit the characters to just 90 in the body.
“As of March 31, the range for all Facebook ads that include a body text is 90 characters on the body,” Ybrant Digital, which partners with Facebook in India for ad marketing, said.
Sponsored stories, however, are an exception to this rule.
All 135 character ads will soon be deactivated. “You cannot submit ads with more than 90 characters any longer,” the Hyderabad-based firm told the advertisers.
