Social networking site Facebook has roped in music streaming portal Dhingana to increase engagement of its users with the site.
Dhingana has made an integration with Facebook so that every time a Dhingana user connects via Facebook, the activity is automatically pushed on the person's Facebook profile so his friends can view his actions, follow his playlists, listen to the same songs as him and the like.
“This will get Facebook users to spend more time on the site, and will help Dhingana use data available on social networking sites to decipher the user's interest and suggest music tracks,” Mr Snehal Shinde, CEO and Co-founder, Dhingana, told Business Line .
