Mortal Kombat X
The biggest fighting game of all times is going to come back even hotter this summer. Mortal Kombat X will most likely feature a completely redesigned storyline, to showcase some of the most legendary characters, such as Scorpion and Sub-Zero, among others. The interesting thing to look out for in this edition of Mortal Kombat will be the non-linear narrative, which will be a significant departure from the game’s usual storyline. Fans can expect a stockpile of new characters, including a few from other games’ and movies’ universes. Mortal Kombat X will also feature new modes such as “Living Towers”, an iteration of the original “Challenge Tower” mode. There’s also a new “Faction Wars” mode – players will have access to Black Dragon, the Brotherhood of Shadow, the Lin Kuei, Special Forces, and White Lotus factions to choose from and fight online.

Final Fantasy Type-0
If one-on-one arcade fighting isn’t your style, then you should check out the latest edition of Final Fantasy, the action role-player game.
Final Fantasy Type-0 comes with a completely new plot – the storyline is set within the land of Orience, with Crystal States of power. These four nations, or Crystal States, thrive on crystals of powers based on the Four Symbols.
Each crystal, and each state owning that crystal, has its own set of powers, such as magic, science and weapons, dragons or shielding. Playing as characters from a faction, the players must try and become a demigod-like character Agito, the one who must save the world from apocalypse. The gameplay has been revamped to include aerial warfare, new weapons capturing and breeding combat animals such as chocobos. Capturing towns will give players added advantages of extra markets to buy weapons and powers from.

Batman: Arkham Knight
The fourth instalment of the caped crusader’s game is all set to release in the summer. Batman: Arkham Knight starts one year after the events of the predecessor, Batman: Arkham City. Batman has just confronted Scarecrow to unite all the villains in Gotham City. Arkham Knight will carry forward the previous games’ weapons and tactics capabilities, such as the grapnel gun, line launcher, batarangs, the countering system and detective vision – some of these can also be used while gliding.
Players will have new features such as a new batarang sensor, which aids in spying. The biggest change, however, is the introduction of the Batmobile, which comes with a plethora of weapons and special powers itself.
The bulletproof car can scatter Batman’s enemies, tase them and is also fully upgradeable. And yes, it can jump, boost its own speed and smash through walls and barricades.
