Product lifecycle management company Geometric and DIPRO, a provider of solutions for CAD/CAM/CAE have announced the formation of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) to provide a suite of services to DIPRO’s Japanese customers.
In a release, the companies said they would jointly offer PLM, CAD/CAM/CAE, and engineering services.
Announcing the launch of the CoE, Mr Hideki Yuasa, Managing Director and General Manager, DIPRO said, "Japanese manufacturers are being challenged with the need for a PLM backbone that can support the speedy availability of accurate product data across locations and are increasingly looking at alternate countries including India for its know-how and for reducing the cost of operations.”
