GlobalLogic, a US-based design and digital product development company, has expanded its operations in India.
The firm, which started operations in Hyderabad in 2011, has added a capacity for 350 people at its facility at Madhapur. The additional capacity would increase GlobalLogic’s employee strength to over 2,500 by the year-end.
“We will utilise the additional space we acquired here to create new innovation labs for clients and build upon existing strengths in content engineering and enterprise,” A Nandini, Vice-President (Delivery) of GlobalLogic India, said.
GlobalLogic started its operations in Hyderabad in 2011 with the acquisition of Rofous Software.
“We are looking to create an inspiring work environment in Hyderabad that will attract many of the talented engineers the city has to offer,” she said, announcing the expansion of its facility here on Monday.
The company has established centres in Hyderabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Nagpur, and Bengaluru. “Organisations globally are struggling to keep pace with the required software engineering talent needed to execute next-generation product development or digital transformation,” she said.
To bridge this talent gap, organisations increasingly turn to industry leaders like GlobalLogic to aid in design and delivery of their digital agenda, she said in a statement.
