Search engine major Google, on Thursday, celebrated its 14th birthday with an animated doodle.
The doodle is designed in the form of a chocolate cake with fourteen candles lit on it. The words Google appears in brown on the cake. All the 14 candles are in Google colours - green, yellow, blue and red.
As one opens the homepage, the cake appears with the candles lit on it. The candles get blown off and the cake gets wrapped in the Google-coloured sheet lying underneath it.
In 2011, when Google turned 13, the company doodled a photograph of itself that showed its birthday celebrations. It had a cake on the table with 13 candles on it, and the Google logo appeared as though it was sitting around the table in party hats while gifts and balloons were used to decorate the room.
