HCL Infosystems on Friday reported net profit of Rs 2 crore for the fourth quarter ended June 30, compared with Rs 11.5 crore in corresponding period last year. The company was in net losses for the last three quarters.
However, its revenue was up 3.2 per cent to Rs 2,726 crore during the quarter compared with Rs 2,639 crore in a year-ago period. The company follows July to June fiscal.
The profit before tax and foreign exchange fluctuation impact was Rs 36 crore for the quarter. For the year, the impact was at Rs 150 crore, the company said. The company’s shares closed at Rs 38.95 on the BSE, down 0.64 per cent from its previous close.
