HCL Care, support and service division of HCL Infosystems, today said it has launched around 170 multi-brand service centres across the country to offer a host of services across mobility, IT and consumer electronics and home appliances.
“Currently, we have 18 company owned centres and 150 franchisee-owned outlets across the country. We plan to reach 500 locations by June 2014,” HCL Care senior VP and Business Head Sayantan Nandi said.
He added the company aims to become the top retail service provider in the country.
The HCL Touch centres, which will act as one stop repair outlets, will offer a wide range of services for multiple products and brands such as Blackberry, Samsung, Lenovo and Dell.
The services offered at the centres include warranty support for OEM partners, multi-brand out of warranty repairs, extended warranty protection plans, accessories and software sales and a range of value added services like on-site services, pick and drop, data recovery, installation and set-up of products.
“With HCL Touch Centres, our aim is to bring a national, multi-channel 24-hour rapid response technical support service for consumers. Through these, we aspire to be the No 1 retail service provider in India,” Nandi said.
