HCL Technologies acquires UK’s P2P for ₹78 crore

HCL Technologies (HCLTech) on Wednesday said it has fully acquired UK’s Point to Point (PPL) and Point to Point Products (PPPL) for £8 million (around ₹78 crore).

The company also fully acquired HCL Training and Staffing Services for ₹2.35 crore, HCLTech said.

It stated with BSE that acquisition of 100 per cent stake in Point to Point and Point to Point Products (jointly referred to as P2P), companies incorporated in the UK and niche providers of complex workplace engineering services, was completed for £8 million.

PPL offers services that include desktop and application virtualisation, desktop and application delivery, DaaS and consulting services. It clocked revenue of £6.3 million in FY 2015 (unaudited). PPPL is mainly in the business of sale of licenses of Google, Citrix, etc, and clocked revenue of £2.2 million in FY 2015 (unaudited), the company said.
