Hinduja Global Solutions Limited (HGS) has launched a new centre in Pune, India. With an initial capacity of over 320 seats and 600 employees, HGS expects to further expand the headcount at the Pune centre to 1,000 by the end of FY 2016-17.
Partha DeSarkar, Chief Executive Officer, HGS said, “HGS has been steadily expanding its delivery footprint in India to capitalize on the growing business opportunities in this market. The new centre in Pune will augment our ability to support the increasingly sophisticated needs of our domestic clients with high-value services.”
HGS entered Pune through the acquisition of a significant part of Mphasis’ BPM operations in India in September, 2015. The new facility will consolidate existing operations and new business in one location. Currently, the team provides customer care support to premium segment customers of a telecom client in India.
At Pune, HGS is looking to leverage the available large pool of English-speaking graduates to provide comprehensive customer experience solutions to clients in telecom, financial services and ecommerce verticals.
