Honeywell, a Fortune 100 company with over $39-billion sales in 2013, is planning to set up a campus in Bangalore with an investment of about Rs 1,400 crore.
The new campus would spread across 5.4 acres. Honeywell’s investment proposal will be placed before the State High Level Committee for clearance shortly.
The company has invested around Rs 1,600 crore till date in Bangalore. Globally, Honeywell has about 21,000 engineers, of which more than 5,000 are located in Bangalore.
Honeywell has a global presence in 70 countries, serving customers worldwide with products and services across aerospace and defence, automation and control systems, performance materials and technologies and transportation systems, much of it developed out of Bangalore.
The company had established its Indian operations in 1994 with headquarters in Bangalore.
