If you wish to port your Aircel number to Reliance Jio as Aircel has filed for bankruptcy , do the following.
First send an SMS PORT followed by your mobile number to 1900. It will be like PORT xxxxxxxxxx.
You will get a Unique Porting Code. The code is valid for 15 days.

Walk in to a Jio store or Reliance Digital / Dx Mini store or any Jio retailer with the UPC (Unique porting code) and your Jio coupon code along with the handset
Don't forget to carry your Aadhaar Card and a photograph. Jio will activate the connection through eKYC process.
It may take a week for the connection to get activated. If you still have the Aircel network signal in your mobile, wait till the signal stops. Then insert the Reliance Jio SIM and follow the instructions.
After the connection is through, you must dial 1977 from your Jio SIM for verification. You will be asked to insert the last four digits of your identity proof.
Important: To use Jio services, you must have a VoLTE 4G smartphone.
