Telecom equipment provider, Huawei, on Wednesday launched its enterprise business unit in India, for which it plans to hire 400 employees by the end of 2012.
The company’s enterprise business is focused on providing solutions for IP, communications and technology and IT businesses and services, China—based Huawei said in a statement.
“The company is expected to clock $15 billion revenue (from its enterprise business worldwide) by 2015,” Huawei President Enterprise Business, Mr Eric Yu, said here at the launch event.
The company plans to hire 200 people by the end of this year and 200 more by the end of 2012, taking the strength of its prospective India workforce to 400.
As a part of its enterprise business expansion plans, the company will focus on providing information and communication technology solutions for sectors such as transport, energy, telecom and finance, among others, the company said.
The company also unveiled its high definition telepresence business system for the Indian market.
