To propel the evolution of the Indian gaming sector and to evangelise the game developer’s community in the country The National Association of Software and Services Companies (NASSCOM) had organised the 5th edition of the NASSCOM Game Developers Conference (NGDC) in Pune.
To honour the companies driving the growth of this industry, NASSCOM recognised the winners of the first edition of the NGF Award across various categories.
The Game of the Year award was bagged again by HUEBRIX, while the runner up was Hitout Heroes (Disney UTV). Prince of Persia Shadow & Flame (Ubisoft Entertainment) emerged the winner by popular choice, while Autista (MadRat Games) got a special mention from the Jury.
In the “Student game of the year” category, the winner (Jury) was Chaos Theory (Diptoman Mukherjee) while the Runner-up (Jury) was Socioball (Apoorva Joshi). The winner by popular choice was Project Heera: Diamond Heist (Mazhlele).
The winner and runner up in the “Indie Game of the Year” category was HUEBRIX: A Twisted Puzzle of Space, Time and Color (Yellow Monkey Studios OÜ) and Save the Dummy (Sandyloisa), respectively. The winner (popular choice) - Song of Swords (Nautilus Mobile App Pvt Ltd).
