iBall forays into tablet segment

Telecom handset and peripherals company iBall has ventured into the tablet PC space. The company has roped in bollywood actor Mr Hrithik Roshan as brand ambassador for ‘iBall Slide', its first offering in this space. iBall Slide, which comes with a 1 GHz processor, will cost Rs 13,995. The 7-inch iBall Slide incorporates an Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and comes with 8GB of built in memory that can be expanded to 32GB.
