IBM has announced its ‘Smart Camp Kickstart’ event in Bangalore.
According to a company release, this event is part of IBM’s Global Entrepreneur Program and will bring together entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, academic leaders and experienced mentors with innovative ideas.
“Through this initiative, IBM wants to help the next generation of entrepreneurs capture emerging business opportunities in fast-growing industries such as energy, utilities, healthcare, and telecommunications,” said Mr Karthik Padmanabhan, Country Manager - ISV and Developer Relations, IBM Software India.
In 2012, there will be 13 IBM SmartCamp Kickstart events in Miami, New York City, Munich, Bangalore, Sydney, Tel Aviv, Moscow, Paris, Istanbul, London, Cape Town, Mexico City and Dublin.
