K Raheja Corp has selected IBM’s Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solution to manage data for internal and external stakeholders.

IBM will manage different kinds of data existing across Raheja’s different locations. The real estate group into retail, real estate has an employee base in excess of 1,000 and was looking to implement an enterprise-wide document management system across business units covering 1200 users.

K Raheja Corp was looking at a solution that would help create a repository for all paper and electronic documents, and e-mails in a secured and digitised manner. Further, the company required applications for web-based access to documents that will give them instant access to information which would help with quick searching, decision making and streamlining workflow.

This solution aims to plug delays due to manual processes. Additionally, IBM’s ECM solutions will help K Raheja Corp in corporate governance, compliance driven processes and documentation.

With IBM’s solution, Raheja will be able to control and build related business processes with the document and folder level security at all management levels. They can keep and access important documents, drawings, e-mails and contracts for longer duration, including refer and re-use learning from old project documents for future projects.

“We needed a solution that could put all the scattered documents and data in a secured and structured environment. These documents can be stored in archives or a point of reference for any future use of the documents,” said Mr Manoj Sharma, Senior VP & Head of Operations, K Raheja Corp.
