IBM unveils tablet apps

IBM has unveiled seven new social networking and collaboration mobile apps designed for enterprises. These apps are available for Android products and for popular tablets like the iPad and are designed to enable employees to collaborate, share data and conduct meetings.

Mr Karthik Padmanabhan, Country Manager, Lotus, IBM Software Group India/ South Asia, said: “The ability to quickly access Angry Birds is fun, but being able to also access business applications and sales leads is beguiling today's customers.”

IBM also has business analytics software for the iPad, which allow business users to analyse data both online and offline.
