IDEA Cellular has introduced a new ‘Data Lifeline’ service, an emergency Internet usage service, to allow uninterrupted Internet browsing experience for its prepaid subscribers in the State.
As per the new offer, Idea prepaid subscribers who have a balance of less than Rs 2 in their account can now get up to 50 MB free Internet usage for two days. Rs 5 will be recovered from the user’s account on the subsequent recharge.
According to M. Srinivas - Circle Head, Tamil Nadu & Chennai, the service is available on all Internet usage on Idea 2G in the circle, he added.
