The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) has tied up with the India Semiconductor Association (ISA), the premier trade body representing the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM) industry.
The IET, a society of engineers and technicians, seeks to strengthen industry ties and encourage the exchange of knowledge through this partnership, according to a press statement.
Both institutions will organise membership promotion activities to increase awareness of the member benefits and activities of the other institution.
The ISA and IET will also work together on joint projects, events, conferences, forums, publications, standards, educational materials and awards, the statement said.
The IET is committed to collaborative partnerships with other professional bodies to build stronger links between engineering professionals, policy-makers and the wider public, it said.
