iGATE-Patni has signed a $30-million contract to provide managed IT infrastructure service operations to forest products company Weyerhaeuser NR.
As a part of the deal, iGATE-Patni will manage Weyerhaeuser's server footprint across multiple sites and will also provide on-demand storage using a private cloud model.
“We are delighted that Weyerhaeuser NR chose iGATE-Patni to manage this important initiative and to help drive their IT infrastructure transformation,” said Mr Robert Massie, Head of Sales for North America, iGATE-Patni. Weyerhaeuser has selected iGATE-Patni two years in a row as its IT Supplier of the Year. iGATE-Patni provides a wide range of IT services for Weyerhaeuser, including infrastructure management services, ERP implementation and support, application development and support services, testing-related services and business intelligence system implementation and support.
