IMImobile, which provides technology solutions for firms to offer mobility services, has bagged a contract from the UK-based media firm BBC.

Promoted by Hyderabad-based entrepreneurs, the firm would help the media firm streamline the audience engagement process across mobile and social channels.

DaVinci Social platform

The BBC will use IMImobile’s DaVinci Social platform in its radio, TV and live programmes, helping the production teams to manage audience interactions on various platforms such as SMS and social media, Jay Patel, Chief Executive of IMImobile, said here in a statement on Wednesday.

The DaVinci Social platform is a scalable platform that can be deployed across hundreds of production teams to centralise the management of audience engagement across multiple digital and mobile channels.

Headquartered in London with offices in Hyderabad, Atlanta and Dubai, the company is listed on the London Stock Exchange’s AIM market. It employs 650 people.
