Realty portal IndiaProperty.com has launched its mobile application to empower customers to make quicker and informed decisions while buying properties, a top company official said today.
The software, launched a month ago, would be made for iPhone, Android, Windows and Blackberry platforms.
Through the Visual Search’ feature powered by Augmented Reality, prospective buyers can search for properties either for rent or outright purchase in any areas of their choice, Ganesh Vasudevan, Vice President and Business Head, IndiaProperty.com told reporters.
Customers can avail this in—house developed facility free of cost in 20 cities across the country, he said, adding that it has so far been used by 15,000 customers.
The company, which kicked off the third edition of its ’Grapravesham 2012,’ a property show here, with its mobile apps and shows, is trying to reach out to customers through every possible medium to simplify their property search experience, he said.
The two-day show will exhibit around 1,000 new properties, 50 builders and 75 new projects, Ganesh said, adding that the company is eyeing Tier II cities like Kochi, Coimbatore, Vishakhapatanam and Mysore for selling the properties.
IndiaProperty.com was recently validated as the number one online real estate portal by comScore, he said.
With the introduction of the free mobile apps for all major platforms, the company was confident of retaining the top slot in the coming years, he said.
