Infosys Public Services, the US subsidiary of Infosys, has implemented a premium billing and payments solution for L.A. Care Health Plan to improve access to health benefits for its 24,000 members on its L.A. Care Covered plan that is offered through the Covered California health insurance marketplace.
L.A. Care Health Plan is the largest publicly operated health plan in the US that serves around 1.6 million members.
Infosys Public Services implemented the ExchangePoint financial management platform to allow its users easier access to the services and integrated the new system with L.A. Care's existing TriZetto QNXT application to enable exchange of data, according to a company statement.
Howard A. Kahn, CEO, L.A. Care, said: "Our updated billing and payment processes and systems will help us improve and simplify access to healthcare to better serve our customers."
