Infosys has announced that it has implemented Finacle for Export Development Bank of Egypt (EDBE). The company has implemented Finacle core banking, treasury and CRM solutions in over 20 branches across the country. Infosys said that EDBE, which has over 70,000 accounts, now operates entirely on Finacle. Mr Magdy Ramadan, CIO, EDBE, said, “The implementation of Finacle has helped us reduce our turnaround time and centralise operations across branches.” Mr Haragopal Mangipudi, Global Head - Finacle, Infosys, said, “Core system replacement is one of the top priorities for banks all over the world, driven by the inadequacy of current systems to provide a platform for growth. We are delighted to partner with EDBE in their technology-led transformation journey.”
