Infosys has appointed Nilanjan Roy as Chief Financial Officer, almost exactly a year after Salil Parekh’s appointment as CEO.
Roy joins Infosys from Bharti Airtel and will take over the reins from Jayesh Sanghrajka from March next year, the company said in a filing.
Sanghrajka will then resume his role as Deputy CFO once Roy takes over.
Further, Roy has spent more than a dozen years in Airtel where he was the global CFO.
Third CFO
This development comes following the resignation of MD Ranganath, who was CFO of Infosys for 3 years.
Roy will be the third CFO of India’s second largest software exporter in the last 5 years.
