Infosys has said it has withdrawn its invitation to the co-founder Mr N R Narayana Murthy a representation on the board as far as governance is concerned.
Co-Vice-chariman, Ravi Venkatesan in an investor call on Friday said the board has no intention in inviting Murthy to have a role for the governance of the company giving a clear indication that it has taken a hard stand on several reports which it believes has damaged the reputation of the company.
Venkatesan said they have always stood by Sikka's vision for the company.
In his comments, Vishal Sikka, the outgoing CEO and MD said, the board has thought about the developments together. "The (reports) have not gone away. It has gotten worse and worse and gotten increasingly malicious and personal.
