Global computer chip maker Intel on Friday unveiled a new marketing campaign ‘Go Do Something Wonderful’ as part of its initiative to highlight how consumers can benefit from owning a PC.
The campaign will be launched this week with a 60 second TV commercial, followed by more TV spots, print, digital and other mobile and social activations, Intel Asia Pacific Director (Brand Strategy and Integrated Marketing) Jayant Murty said.
“With PC penetration less than 10 per cent and with youth being 40 per cent of India’s population, the campaign presents us the opportunity to take this well beyond a campaign into a huge movement,” Intel South Asia Director of marketing Sandeep Aurora told reporters here.
The campaign, the financial details of which weren’t disclosed, is a result of the collaboration between Intel India’s and Asia Pacific marketing teams, Intel’s global advertising team and Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam agency.
