The Indian IT-BPO sector revenue is estimated to cross the USD 100 billion mark, NASSCOM said here today.
The industry body also said export revenue would grow by 11-14 per cent in the financial year starting April.
“The environment is foggy with some silver linings. We are putting exports revenue to grow by 11-14 per cent and the domestic industry for software and BPO to be growing by 13-16 per cent in 2012-13,” Mr Rajendra Pawar, Chairman, Nasscom told reporters. It predicts the domestic industry for software and BPO to be growing at 16.7 per cent.
The outlook would be revised later in the year when more data is available, the software body said.
For 2011-12, the total job addition in the industry is seen over 230,000 across the country.
