The IT industry is in need of more ‘specialists’ even as it is tapping new markets and getting engaged with new customers, according to Mr Som Mittal, President, Nasscom.
With a large number of people coming in to the IT industry, the challenge is to transform them from trainable to industry ready and to specialists in a particular area, he said in his welcome address at the two-day Nasscom HR Summit.
