Jabong.com, India's online fashion store, in partnership with Talenthouse India today launched the first ever 'India Online Fashion Week' here.
“With India Online fashion week, we aspire to represent the fashion industry and provide the fraternity an online platform to grow, thus benefitting all stakeholders," Praveen Sinha, Co-Founder, Jabong said.
By doing such activities, the company aims at providing opportunities to budding artists, by inviting applications from them under four broad categories – designers, models, hairstylist and make-up artists, he said.
The event will start on July 25 and go on till July 30, with participation from the who’s who of the Indian fashion Fraternity as the spectators of the grand Finale of the event.
“Designer clothing will be more accessible and it will also make fashion affordable in tier II and tier III cities," Bollywood actor, Yami Gautam, who will also be mentoring the aspiring artists, said.
